Bosch E-14 error code stands for water flow issue, incoming water, too much or too little water in the machine.
This code can be tricky to diagnose because I have found that sometimes just cleaning the wash motor screens or filters can correct this issue. Most of the time you will have to replace the flow meter, but first try and clean the filters. I have found that simply doing this has corrected the issue in the past.
If the error code returns you will want to check the incoming water. Do you have a good flow to the dishwasher? If not correct the issue, plugged water screens, kinked water line, kinked drain line or water not turned on all the way to the dishwasher.
After checking the simple things its time to focus on the flow meter as the possible cause. Start by removing the dishwasher from the cabinet, you may have to disconnect electric, water or drain hose. Remove the left side panel. There are three screws in the front and one on the back. After removing the panel you can now see the incoming water compartment. The two blue or Orange wires are connected to the flow meter switch.
Before replacing the water housing and flow meter switch you should check that the electrical plug is secure. Also, check to see that the wires themselves are not broken or chewed by mice. I have also found that most of the time the switch is bad you can hear the wheel chattering or squealing when trying to fill with water. (You will need to replace the complete housing they do not sell the switch separately.)
